Welcome to the Junior High Art Gallery
Creative Drawing Dream House:
Throughout the year, students are required to do a creative drawing based on the skills and techniques that they have learned. This is a graphite only project.

Final Art Folder:
This is the final project for the first semester. It is what the students will keep their art in the rest of the year. It is a colored pencil only drawing. Again, the students must utilize the skill sets they have been taught with the different types of lettering styles.
Drawing by: Rosalie Jones; 7th grade
Sponge bob Gang:
This is a pencil sketch and shading of the Sponge bob gang. It is done in graphite pencil. Students must use their plotting and shading skills to complete this assignment correctly.
Drawing by: Lauren Cardon; 8th grade
Crayon Apple:
In this project, students learn the basic skills of watercolor paints, and learn to use crayons in a whole different way. By using a “spit shine” effect on the crayon apple, the picture is completed with a reflective look.
Final Color Wheel:
This is the final project for the second semester. Students use their newfound knowledge of mixing and techniques of painting with Tempera paint to complete this project. They come up with a radial design to demonstrate the seven elements of colors; pure, tint, shade, black, white, light grey, and dark grey.
